ABSTRACT:
USB flash drives are extremely useful devices for transferring data, they do come with security risks. Employees using USB drives at home and then plugging them back into the corporate network is a security concern for any IT Administrator. When you insert a Pen-drive or a USB drive in your computer, your computer doesn’t show any indication. Even when you open up My Computer, the USB drive will not be listed there. But this project helps us to get indication when we insert pen drive as well it will help to send mail for the indication. After login we will validate and when the pen drive is inserted it shows the indication and send a mail.
EXISTING SYSTEM:
The existing system gives the indication while inserting pen drive as a pop up message. So that they know that computer has detected the pen drive and can transfer the data.
PROPOSED SYSTEM
This project is developed and sends the email to the user that pen drive is detected and gives detail information about the device. So that the user will be aware of the usage and no one can misuse the system.
